Grizzly Troop Shoot
2026 Grizzly Troop Shoot
Leader Guide available in the Event Attachments section
Updates to know about:
Beginner vs. Experienced youth: Experienced youth get more shotgun shots on their course of fire card. Beginner registration is better for your newer and smaller/younger scouts (a little bit less of a fee also). They still get a few shots of Shotgun included if they wish to try it but they aren't "wasting" money on shots they aren't interested in or not yet capable of enjoying.
Daily Schedule Change: There is a Beginner Specific time at the Shotgun range to help us ensure we have enough instructors present to provide the support required for new scouts at shotgun and then keep the waiting line minimal for experienced shooters at other times.
General Information:
Camping is included and will be welcome on Friday night and on Saturday night!
Night Shoot on Saturday Night is a fun add-on and includes range time on the Rifle Range with fun glowing and reactive targets!
Registration Fee Schedule
March 1-March 8: Early Bird Pricing! $10 off each participant!
March 9-March 14: Regular Pricing
March 15-March 18: Late Fee ($10 each late fee)
Can AOLs attend this event? How about recent crossover scouts?
No they cannot. All scouts must be registered Scouts BSA or Venturing members. If your scout has recently crossed over into a Scouts BSA Troop, please ensure that their registration in the troop has been processed so they are registered as a Scouts BSA troop member.
