2025 Grizzly Troop Shoot
Camp Grizzly Troop Shooting Sports Day
A day full of FUN at every range! You will have the opportunity to complete a competitive course of fire in the morning and strut your stuff. After lunch, ranges will be available for open shooting time which can be used to work on qualifications for merit badges, marksmanship program targets or just because you enjoy shooting. Please plan to bring your own lunch. Units are welcomed to camp at Grizzly on Friday and/or
Saturday night. Scouts may attend without their unit but they must have an adult stay also: we are not able to provide leadership for lone scouts. Mandatory safety briefings will be Saturday morning (8am). Closing ceremony will commence at 5pm. Updated times and details will be provided in the attached leaders guide available in March.
Ranges included in Morning Course of Fire:
- .22 Long Rifle

Special for those camping Saturday Evening: Night Shooting on the Rifle Range!
Our Rifle range has lighting for shooting safely after dark. The down-range lights arent meant for working on your marksmanship ranks but it's great for enjoying targets that just aren't as satisfying during the day. For a small fee ($4) per scout, we'll be setting up some uniqe and FUN targets for night shooting. The fee helps purchase these unique targets. There will be limited seats available and we request that units request this option through the trading post section in your registration prior to March 20th.
