Join us for a weekend of giving back to our Scouting community with the initiation process into the Order of the Arrow. This event is for current OA members and newly elected candidates to participate in service projects at Camp Grizzly, followed by the official induction ceremony (called an "Ordeal") to become full members of the OA brotherhood.

BSA Medical forms A&B are required for everyone in attendance

Check-in Friday night between 6pm-8pm (please eat before you arrive - dinner is not provided Friday night)
Check Out/Pack out by Sunday 9AM.

What to Pack
Activity uniform/work-appropriate clothes
Bedroll (ground cloth/sleeping pad, sleeping bag, tarp)
Flashlight/headlamp
Weather-appropriate gear (don't get caught out in the rain and/or cold - BE PREPARED)
Small Day Pack with water bottle, sunscreen, work gloves, and bug spray (if appropriate)

Pack separately for Saturday Evening/Sunday
Tent
Field Uniform (without merit badge sash)
Change of clothes
Money for lodge trading post items (optional)

Work on memorizing the Obligation, Song of the Order, Admonition, OA handclasp, and the sign of Ordeal membership.

Thank you for supporting Ordeal! We have planned an outstanding weekend of fellowship and service for you to enjoy. We hope it allows you to forge new friendships, cement old ones, and reflect on your commitment to a life of servant leadership.

Meals will be provided, but feel free to bring snacks. Bring whatever equipment you wish to keep yourself comfortable, warm, and dry. Also bring cards, board games, etc. for the Friday and Saturday night fellowships. If you collect patches, bring them for show or trading with your friends!
