IOLS Training

Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS) is a required training for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters. This course teaches hands-on outdoor skills as well as emphasizes the patrol method and values of Scouting. 

IOLS will take place during Fall Camporee at Cowles Scout Reservation.

Friday check in time will be 6:00-6:30pm, with class from 6:30-8:30pm. 

Saturday class will be from 8am - 4pm. Lunch will be provided.

If your Troop is camping at Fall Camporee, you will camp and eat with them (except lunch on Saturday). If they are not, we will pair you with a host Troop for the weekend.
