Located on Mirror Lake as part of the Rasmuson Scout Reservation, Camp Gorusch is home to the largest camping program of the Great Alaska Council - Cub Scout camping! This camp is located on Mirror Lake and is part of the Rasmuson Scout Reservation. The program has been designed to offer Scouts a wide variety of fun, challenging opportunities to help them progress along the scouting trail. Cub Scout Dens arrive on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. All of the meals are provided starting Tuesday morning and ending with the Friday night dinner. Cub Scouts and their leaders will stay in cabins at camp. The cabins have bunk-beds with mattresses. Webelos will make some of their meals as part of their program. Webelos Scouts and their leaders will stay in tents at camp. Showers and flushing toilets are available. Participants will need to bring their own sleeping bags and personal hygiene items.  Due to Covid-19 and Municipality mandates there will Covid 19 mitigation plans in place that will be consistently updated leading to camp. All information will be shared with registed units as they become available.
