Celebrating Excellence in Scouting

Join us for an evening of celebration and fellowship at the Chugach District Recognition Banquet, where we honor the volunteers, leaders, and Scouts who exemplify the spirit of Scouting within the district. This special night recognizes the individuals and units whose dedication, leadership, and service have helped our programs shine bright across Anchorage, Eagle River and Chugiak.

Enjoy a night filled with camaraderie, inspiring stories, and heartfelt recognition as we present some of Scouting’s highest honors — including the District Award of Merit, leader training awards, and other fun recognitions. Together, we’ll reflect on the year’s successes, share in the warmth of community, and look ahead to the adventures still to come.

WHO: This is open to District Leaders, Unit Leaders, Unit Assistant Leaders, Unit Committee Members, and their families.

When: 5:00 pm for check-in. Dinner starts at 6:00pm

Auction: There will be a small silent auction to help cover the costs of the awards and support the youth of the council. (cash or check for check out)

Dress Code: Please wear as much of the Scouting America uniform that you own. If you do not own a uniform, the dress for the evening is “Business Casual.”

COST: $20 per person

MENU: Spaghetti Dinner
