Eagle River Scout Camp Cub Resident Camp
The walk into camp is worth the trip. Packs arrive Thursday evening and take the 2 mile walk with their personal gear into camp. Scouts and Leaders stay in one of the camp’s cabins spread through out camp and enjoy eating all of their meals in the dining hall or under the pavilion that overlooks Favorite Channel. The camp is in a rain forest so be prepared with proper boots and rain gear to have the most positive experience while enjoying seeing the eagles, whales, sea lions and other animals that call this area home. Opening night campfire are always a big hit! The camp is far enough South in Alaska that there is dusk and night. It is not uncommon to see a cruise ship lit up at night making its way up the channel after campfire. The camp is very grateful to the local volunteers and organizations who come in and help make camp successful. Getting there is half the fun!
Fees are $155 per youth that includes a t-shirt. $75 per adult and that includes a t-shirt.
