Welcome to the Peninsula Territory Merit Badge Clinic!
Registration Deadline:
January 4th, or sooner if all classes are filled.
Clinic Dates:
January 10
January 24
February 7
Each merit badge class spans three sessions on the dates above. Attendance at all three sessions is required.
Important Details
Counselor Communication:
Counselors will contact registered Scouts up to two weeks before the first session to discuss preparation and initial requirements. After the final session, they will continue to assist as needed until March 1, the closing date for completing merit badges.
Completion Timeline:
Most Scouts should be able to finish their merit badge(s) during the clinic, but completion is not guaranteed. Scouts are responsible for meeting all requirements.
Guidance for Scouts
Pick a Merit Badge:
Choose from the Course Catalog and discuss your selection with your Scoutmaster and parents. Select a topic you truly want to learn—not just for rank advancement.
Consider Your Age:
While there are no age restrictions, some classes are better suited for older Scouts due to the amount of material covered.
Get Ready:
Obtain and read the Merit Badge pamphlet before the first session. Bring all required materials (notes, pictures, reports, etc.) to class.
Tracking Requirements:
Requirements will be tracked digitally, and records will be sent after the third weekend.
Day of the Event:
Wear your Field Uniform proudly and bring your Merit Badge pamphlet.
