Lake Trails Pinewood Derby

Lake Trails 2026 Pinewood Derby
Apr 25, 2026 10am-2pm
The Marketplace at Factoria, Factoria Blvd SE, Bellevue, WA 98006
We are excited to bring back a territory-wide Pinewood Derby and to open it to Cub Scouts, non-Scouts, older youth, and adults across our community. Even better, thanks to the wonderful assistance from The Marketplace at Factoria, we'll be holding the event in their mall.
The Pinewood Derby is one of the most popular and successful family activities in Cub Scouting and challenges kids to design and submit a car of their own, and then race it in a competition on our 40-foot aluminum tracks. The Pinewood Derby car kit includes the wood to make your car, four axles, and four tires. Your car must be made from this kit to qualify for racing.
Who is this for?
K-5 kids, Cub Scouts, Scouts, and local families. Cub Scouts - bring a friend! Parents and adults can race too! How can I enter a car in the race?

Can I help?
The success of all Scouting events depends upon our amazing volunteers. For this event, we're looking for Scouts and Adult Leader volunteers to help run aspects of race day, setup, and teardown.
