Are You Ready?

Come to the Big One Camporee to get ready to Be Prepared and react to save yourself, your family and your community.

We will be preparing for THE BIG ONE - A potentialy catastrophic earthquate expected to occur along the Cascadia Subduction Zone, with significant implications for the Pacific Northwest.

This is why Scouts learn all the skills we do, to be ready when needed. Sure we’ll have fun, but most of all you will be challenged to work together to save lives, maybe even your own!!!

There will be (simulated) blood, there will be massive casualties, there will be a great need for Scout skills applied to save people, rescue children, communicate with radio and semaphore, navigate to extraction points, work with EMS for evacuations, move through debris, water rescue with ring toss, CPR and more.
