Salish Sea District Webelos-Ree 2019
This year's WEBELOS-REE will offer Webelos activities in a Scouts BSA Camp environment. The WEBELOS-REE is organized as a one-day event, plus one night of camping with activities geared toward transitioning to Scouts BSA. Activities will include: orienteering, knife and axe safety, cooking, first aid, ceremonies, camp wide games, and the evening campfire. Parts of several adventure pins will be covered during Webelos-Ree. Den leaders will be responsible for tracking any requirements completed.
Hot dogs will be served for lunch. You will need to bring extra food for snacks or special diets, and will be responsible for your own meals after lunch.
Sign-in will open at 8:00 AM. The program will begin around 9:00 AM and will end with a campfire at 8:00 PM. Please bring a BSA Annual Health and Medical Record, Part A&B for each Webelos and adult participant
Overnight stay is encouraged! A Webelos Scout may participate in overnight den camping when supervised by an adult. In most cases, the Webelos Scout will be under the supervision of their parent or guardian. It is essential that each Webelos Scout be under the supervision of a parent-approved adult. If attending as a den, the den must be accompanied by at least two adults/leaders.
Overnight campsites are available, but participants need to bring camping equipment, food for meals, and current emergency contact information for each participant (Part of the BSA medical form).
Cost for the event: $10.00 for youth, $2.00 for adults, and $3.00 per patch. No additional charge for overnight stay.
Online registration and payment only.
