Fire Mountain Night Hike 2024

Event Details

The Fire Mountain Night Hike is a station event for Scouts BSA units. Patrols will complete challenges at various stations around camp. These stations will challenge the patrols’ cohesion, scout skills and scout spirt.

The Fire Mountain Night Hike is an overnight adventure to grow leadership and teamwork within each patrol. Units are invited to arrive between Noon and 3pm on Saturday to set up their campsites (no program or meals are provided during this time) and get settled. At cracker barrell, each patrol will be briefed on the rules and structure of the event before setting off on the Night Hike. The Night Hike is a timed event where each patrol is challenged to complete as many stations as possible in the allotted time. The stations will be set up throughout camp and will challenge each patrol with a variety of team building exercises and adventures. Patrols will learn new skills, practice what they already know, and have a great time!

Who is this program for?:

Scout BSA patrols attending as a troop.

When: March 9-10

Please do not plan on arriving before NOON on Saturday

Cost: Registration for this event is $25 for scouts and $10 for adults. This covers some meals, a patch and program supplies. Late fee after Monday of the event.

Will food be provided: Camp will be providing Saturday Cracker Barrel, Sunday Breakfast. Units should be prepared to feed themselves Saturday lunch.
