Summer Induction Weekend

What: Order of the Arrow - Sikhs Mox Lamonti Lodge Induction Weekend

Event Check in begins at 7:30pm, Thursday and check out between 9 am and 10am on Saturday. Members helping to faciliate the Induction need to arrive and check in at camp between 6:30-7:00PM.

Since 1915, the Order of the Arrow has been recognizing Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Scout Law in their daily lives.  This all started at Treasure Island Scout Camp, and we are continuing that tradition at Fire Mountain Scout Camp.   The induction weekend starts candidates off on their own personal adventure of self-discovery of the leader within and the willingness to provide cheerful service in all aspects of their lives.  

Candidate Info

The cost of the Induction Weekend is $80, which covers the following: an OA sash, lodge flap, OA pocket emblem, OA handbook, dues for 2024 and 2025. Registration deadline is July 29th. 

Arrive at Fire Mountain Scout Camp Thursday night between 6 pm and 7:30pm.  Check in will be in the Administration Building in camp.  While dinner will not be provided Thursday night but there will be a cracker barrel.  Being on time is important, as the Ordeal activities start at 8pm.  Officially, the Ordeal concludes at 10pm Friday evening, but everyone is invited to spend Friday night and fellowship with other members.  Parents should plan on picking up their Scouts between 10 and 11am on Saturday.  If you plan on leaving Friday night, parents should plan on picking up their Scouts between 10:45pm and 11:15pm on Friday night, at the Administration Building.

If you have purchased the 2024 Octipass, you have already paid for this event.  The cost of the weekend is $30, if paid by July 17th, $35 otherwise.  Registration deadline is July 29th.
