Spring Induction Weekend

What: Order of the Arrow - Sikhs Mox Lamonti Lodge Induction Weekend

Event Check in begins at 6pm, Friday and check out between 10 am and 11am on Sunday.

Candidate Info

The cost of the Induction Weekend is $80, which covers the following: an OA sash, lodge flap, OA pocket emblem, OA handbook, dues for 2023 and 2024. Registration deadline is April 14th. 

Arrive at Fire Mountain Scout Camp Friday night between 6 pm and 7:30pm.  Check in will be in the Administration Building in camp.  While dinner will not be provided Friday night but there will be a cracker barrel.  Being on time is important, as the Ordeal activities start at 8pm.  Officially, the Ordeal concludes at 10pm Saturday evening, but everyone is invited to spend Saturday night and fellowship with other members.  Parents should plan on picking up their Scouts between 10 and 11am on Sunday.  If you plan on leaving Saturday night, parents should plan on picking up their Scouts between 10:15pm and 11pm on Saturday night, at the Administration Building.  

Please bring the following items:

- a completed copy of the BSA Annual Health and Medical Record.  

- complete Scout uniform

- sleeping bag

- sleeping pad

- personal tent

- rain gear

- toiletries

- clothes to work in : boots, pants, shirts, jacket, gloves

- change of clean clothes

- flashlight

- water bottle

- watch

If you have purchased the 2023 Octipass, you have already paid for this event.  The cost of the weekend is $30, if paid by April 7th, $35 otherwise.  Registration deadline is April 21st.  

Brothers, as our candidates start their Induction Adventure, the induction weekend will be the first opportunity many have to see the Order of the Arrow in action.  We need everyone to come, youth and adults, to provide cheerful service.

There are many capacities we need both youth and adults to fill.  For example, you could be on the welcome or fellowship crews, set up/clean up crews, work crews, elangomat crew and much more.  Contact your Chapter Chief and Chapter Adviser if you want to serve in a specific capacity.  

ORDEAL MEMBERS!  Are you ready to complete your Induction Journey in the Order of the Arrow during the induction weekend?  Check the Brotherhood box if you are interested in learning more and or want to complete your Induction with the Brotherhood ceremony this weekend.  For those who aren’t quite sure, there will be a Brotherhood class offered to answer all your questions.
