Fire Mountain Haunted Camp 2022

Event Details

Trick or Treat through the Spooky Forest, participate in Eerie Field games, walk through our Haunted Fort…and don’t miss the Zombie Marina!

Haunted Camp is a family Halloween event for everyone! Join other families that will venture out to Fire Mountain for a Halloween themed fun event in a safe, family-friendly environment at a cost that fits just about any budget. The Haunted Camp is packed with activities including storytelling, the haunted fort, midway games, the haunted trail, and more! Come as a pack, a den, or as a family. And everyone is invited, so bring your friends!

Haunted Camp isn’t meant to be too scary though we do offer a daylight and “after-dark” version (everything is more spooky after the sun goes down) but it is a FUN event, no advancement or scout skills being covered just a come and have a good time.

There’s tons to do at Haunted Camp! As a family event, every activity is designed to involve the whole family. The evening is packed with fun and games, and with so much to do, you might have a hard time fitting it all in in. Most activities are great for every age, but some are designed for older kids looking for a little fright. One thing is for certain — there’s something for everyone at the Haunted Camp!

Costumes are encourged!!

What's with the three sessions of Haunted Camp?

Zombie Volunteer Camp starts Friday and for the Scout BSA troops volunteering and Fire Mountain Staff helping to run Haunted Camp the next day. They get in Friday, get settled into a campsite and then have some fun watching a spooky movie with popcorn! Saturday morning will be set up and prep for the Haunted Camp in there program areas. Food is provided by the Troop (except the popcorn). Troops are asked to clean up thier area before departing camp, and can stay Saturday evening if they wish!

Spooky Camp is a "day time" walk through with trick or treating and fun around camp while the sun is still up and hopefully less scary.

Scary Camp is meant to be just that, SCARY... but not to scary, we are still scouts after all. This is after the sun goes down so there is a lot more chance for a ghost or gobilin to pop out at you for a little fright!
