Fall Induction Weekend

What: Order of the Arrow - Sikhs Mox Lamonti Lodge Summer Induction Weekend

REGISTRATION DEADLINE MONDAY, October 3, 2022.  

Event Check in begins at 6pm, Friday and check out between 10 am and 11am on Sunday.

Candidate Info

The cost of the Induction Weekend is $80, which covers the following: an OA sash, lodge flap, OA pocket emblem, OA handbook, dues for 2022 and 2023.

Arrive at Fire Mountain Scout Camp Friday night between 6 pm and 7:30pm.  Check in will be in the Administration Building in camp.  While dinner will not be provided Friday night but there will be a cracker barrel.  Being ontime is important, as the Ordeal activities start at 8pm.  Officially, the Ordeal concludes at 10pm Saturday evening, but everyone is invited to spend Saturday night and fellowship with other members.  Parents should plan on picking up their Scouts between 10 and 11am on Sunday.  If you plan on leaving Saturday night, parents should plan on picking up their Scouts between 10:15pm and 11pm on Saturday night, at the Administration Building.  

Please bring the following items:

- a completed copy of the BSA Annual Health and Medical Record (link).  

- complete Scout uniform

- sleeping bag

- ground cloth/tarp

- rain gear

- toiletries

- clothes to work in : boots, pants, shirts, jacket, gloves

- change of clean clothes

- flashlight

- water bottle

- watch

Brothers, it is time to show our candidates what it means to provide cheerful service.  Come and serve with and stand beside those who will join our Brotherhood, as they start their Induction Adventure.  Many hands make light work, we need as many brothers as possible to come and serve the largest candidate class we have had in years.  Whether you serve as an elangomat, ceremonialist, in the kitchen or with the work crews, we need all youth and adults engaged.  Contact your Chapter Chief or Chapter Adviser if you want to serve in a specific capacity.
