These orientation meetings are strongly encouraged for any families planning to register for the 2027 Philmont trek. Parents of youth participants will meet in one room to discuss finances, safety, medical forms, and leadership/oversight. Youth participants will meet in the other room to discuss gear, trek options, fundraising, and physical preparation. Both the adult meeting and the youth meeting will occur simultaneously in adjacent rooms. The Everett set of meetings and the Anacortes set of meetings will cover the same material, so you can pick the one that works best for you.
