The Blue Mountain Council has reserved space for a council contingent to complete a 9-day
backcountry trek at Philmont Scout Ranch for the summer of 2025.
DATES: July 2-16, 2025
WHO: Youth, female and male, aged 14-20 as of July 4, 2025
TRAVEL: Leave by car/van on July 2 and back home on July 16
COST: $1,860, including travel costs
$500 non-refundable deposit due at signup time
 $1,060 due by September 1, 2024
 $300 travel costs due to travel coordinator by departure on July 2, 2025
Any adults who wish to go should send a note to the Brett Bybee, stating their desire to
participate describing why they wish to go and what qualifications they bring with them (CPR,
Wilderness First Aid, etc.) Space for adults is EXTREMELY limited so extra care is taken in the
selection of adults. Youth AND adults with any questions should reach out to Brett Bybee or
MJ Heather.
