E9 Section Induction Experience

The E9 Section Induction Experience (SIE) will be held the weekend of October 2-4 at Camp T. Brady Saunders in Maidens, VA. The purpose of the event is to simulate a lodge induction weekend using the new OA ceremonies and induction-related activities. This immersive experience will allow lodge leaders, ceremonialists, and other Arrowmen to learn all of the new processes first-hand and prepare to deliver the new induction experience at the lodge level. Registration is $50 and closes on September 27 at 11:59 pm.

Each E9 lodge is allocated 20 available slots; lodge leadership will receive a registration link to distribute to those appropriate Arrowmen who can bring the new induction process to their lodges for the Lodge Induction Experience (LIE) for their members to experience before they are authorized to use this process to induct new members. A minimum of 10 members from each lodge must attend before a lodge can offer a LIE.

Lodges are encouraged to help subsidize the cost to attend for members since this is a required training in order to incorporate the new induction process.
