Buckskin 2024
The Leadership Experience

Founded in 1984, Buckskin is one of the first Youth Leader Trainings in all of Scouting.  Buckskin is an immersive leadership experience for Scouts BSA Troops in the Heart of Virginia Council.

Buckskin offers a 360º leadership experience that integrates classroom teaching with hands-on practice and reinforcement.  This exciting combination will equip your Scout with the tools, experience, confidence, and enthusiasm needed to make a difference as a leader.

WHO
Target Participant Requirements:

• At least 14 years of age
• Star Rank or higher
• Minimum one prior long-term camping trip
• In good physical condition
• Expected to assume a troop leadership role
• Eager to learn and have fun being a Scout

COST
The cost is $350.00 per participant. -- This includes all meals, all course materials, a participant T-Shirt, and a graduation certificate with limited edition patch. --

If you wish to make a down payment of $150.00 per participant at the time of registration, rather than paying the full cost at the time of registration, you may do so.  Please return to your registration before July 2nd to pay the remaining balance of $200.00.

Full payment of course fees is due on or before July 2nd, 2024.
