The Arrohattoc District Recognition Team will host the 2023 Arrohattoc District Recognition Event recognizing our Scouts and Scouters for their accomplishments in 2022

Awards and Recognitions are open to any Scouter of Arrohattoc and can be nominated by anyone. The goal is to identify the best and most deserving in each category. Nominations should be presented to the Arrohattoc Advancement and Recognition Team at arrohattocadvance@gmail.com and received by April 7th, 2023.

These nominations are for the Year of 2022. Awards will be presented at our District Awards and Recognition Event on May 12th, 2023.

The Arrohattoc District will recognize up to two outstanding Volunteers among us. These Scouters will be awarded the District Award of Merit, the highest recognition at the District level, which can be bestowed only by its own volunteers. We will also recognize the hard work and dedication of our District’s youth, so if you attained the rank of Eagle Scout between January 2022 and December 2022 you are invited to be a guest of the District at no charge.

The Heart of Virginia Council continues its tradition of providing this event free of charge for the District’s Eagle Scouts, which will be underwritten with generous sponsorships by many Scout alumni, chartered organizations, Scouting supporters, and local businesses. All family members, Scout leaders, and Eagle Scout alumni are all encouraged to attend this very special program to recognize our AOL’s, district volunteers, and the young women and men of the Eagle Scout Class of 2022.
