Attendance is only required on the 17th but the 24th will be available for Scouts who were not prepared to complete all of the requirements.

Because of the limited number of spots in the Communication merit badge classes  Scouts are asked to have the Public Speaking merit badge prior to registering for the Communication merit badge.  

While Public Speaking is not a requirement for Communication, it is believed that Scouts can benefit from taking Public Speaking before Communication.  Skills learned in Public Speaking will make Communication easier as well as get more out of the Communication class.

Patrick Henry will visit again this year.
