Registration opens at 7:30 am and the program starts at 8:00 am Saturday, April 12th, and ends at approximately 4:30 pm Sunday, 13th.
Attire is Class "B" / Activity Uniform
Participants must bring a current copy of their BSA Health Form with sections A & B completed. The form will be kept confidential and returned at the end of training. A copy can be downloaded using the link to the right.
Participants need to bring their own personal camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, camp chair, water bottle, mess kit with knife, fork, spoon, and plate....) and personal items (stave, pocket knife, compass, medicines, change of clothes, and rain/cold gear.....). Plan appropriately for the predicted weather conditions. Food, water, and food preparation gear are provided. Please let us know of any food allergies, sensitivities, or other dietary restrictions.
Registration is necessary for meal and material planning. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY! Walk-ins will not be accepted.
SCOUTS BSA SCOUTMASTER/ASSISTANT SCOUTMASTER LEADER TRAINING
IS SEPARATED INTO 4 PARTS
- (Scoutmaster-Specific Leader Training) concentrates on troop operation and is completed in one day at in-person training (preferred) or online. (This is accomplished in a separate one-day "indoor" course, and is for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters).
- This Training Fulfills (Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills) (IOLS), focuses on outdoor skills and lasts two full days. (This is accomplished in this weekend-long training course for both Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters).
- (Youth Protection Training) In-person or online.
- (Hazardous Weather Training) Online.
