Scouts registered for the Communication merit badge will need to attend both days in order to complete all the requirements.

The Public Speaking merit badge only requires attendance on the 17th but the 24th will be available for Scouts who were not prepared to complete requirements 1, 2 and 3 on the 17th.    

Because of the limited number of spots in the Communication merit badge classes  Scouts are asked to have the Public Speaking merit badge prior to registering for the Communication merit badge.  If additional volunteers can be recruited, we'll be able to add additional classes.  

While Public Speaking is not a requirement for Communication, it is believed that Scouts can benefit from taking Public Speaking before Communication.  Skills learned in Public Speaking will make Communication easier as well as get more out of the Communication class.

Patrick Henry will visit again this year.
