Arrohattoc District Presents – Movie Under the Stars 2022

Join us for the viewing of the classic film, The Goonies! at Albright Scout Reservation on August 19th, 2022!

OPEN TO ALL

Arrive anytime after 7 PM

The movie will start at 8:30 PM with the sunset

Location: Cahoon Center (Albright Scout Reservation) 

Admission Cost: $10 per family/household (Includes Pack/Troop)

Albright Scout Reservation (ASR) is a council-owned weekend camping facility located at 11301 Trent Bridge Road, 23838, in Chesterfield County on Lake Chesdin.  The reservation is a 568-acre multi-use area that provides opportunities for unit camping, district events, large and small, and leave-no-trace camping.

Not only is this a great way to show the Heart of Virginia Council that we love using Alright, but this is also a great opportunity to grow your unit by getting Scouts to Bring-a-Friend.   Let’s show our community all the fun we can have!

Reserve your spot today!

Bring your own blankets and chairs for seating.
There will be no indoor access at this event.
No outside food or beverages are allowed.

In addition to the movie being shown, there are various activities that will be available such as fishing, hiking, & a cornhole competition.
1st Scouter to complete the movie word search wins candy and popcorn.

Concessions will be available for purchase. All concessions will be 1$. (Cash or Credit Card Only)

• Candy (Hershey’s, Snickers, Sour Patch Kids, etc.)
• Drinks (Coke, Sprite, Water, etc.)

Inclement Weather Policy:

If there is inclement weather, the event will be canceled 2 hours prior to the event. An email will be sent out in addition to posting on the website and Facebook.
