Lifeguard Training

June 3-5, 2022

Friday 6:00 pm to Sunday 7:00 pm

(Must attend all three days)

Camp T. Brady Saunders

1723 Maidens Road, Maidens, VA

Cost:  $100*

Must be at least 15 years old and capable of swimming 550 yards in good form.

Prerequisite:  complete Safe Swim Defense through my.scouting.org.  Print and bring the certificate.

Additional training needed before certification is effective:  (1) Must complete CPR for Professional Rescuer (CPR/BLS/AED) within 120 days of completion.  A CPR Pro class will be offered for an additional fee TBA.  (2) Serve as a lifeguard, under supervision, for at least two separate BSA swimming activities for a combined time of two hours.  Will discuss opportunities to complete this requirement.

Arrive Friday evening between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm.  Please eat dinner before arriving.  Check-in will be at TBS Admin.  We will be finished on Sunday by 7:00 pm.  Meals Saturday and Sunday are included.  Please notify Candy Johnson of any allergies or food concerns.

We will be camping.  Please bring your own tents.
