Cub Scout Summer Camp 2026

Summer is the perfect season for you to spend quality time with your family.

One of the most rewarding and character-building things a family can do together is go camping.  Bring your Scout to a session at Cub Adventure Camp.  Adventure Camp offers a 4-day, 3-night experience this summer at the Heart of Virginia Scout Reservation in Goochland County. You can attend as a family or just as a parent/Scout pair.   Meals are served in our air-conditioned Dining Hall, and you can stay in our Tent Village or in a Western Frontier Fort, Yurt, or Cabin.

Activities include fishing, BB guns, archery, swimming in our pool, splashing in our spray ground, and so much more.  However, the most important part of the Adventure Camp experience is not the exciting activities or the engaging theme.  What really matters is having the opportunity to getup a little early and take your child down to the pond to fish, just the two of you.  After lunch, you can take a walk in the woods and have a conversation with your Scout.  No video games, no cellphones, no television in sight.  There’s not much better in life than sitting next to your child, enjoying a campfire, looking at the stars, and talking about the awesome day you had together.

Session 1 (June 12 - June 15)

Session 2 (June 17 – June 20)

Session 3 (July 17 – July 20)

Fees:

HEART OF VIRGINIA COUNCIL Cub Scouts: 

• $170 Early Bird rate ends May 1, 2026 and 50% of camp fees must be paid by May 1, 2026 to receive the Early Bird Rate (this fee also includes the $25 Season Pass discount)
• If signed up after the Early Bird Date of May 1, 2026 camp fees are $185 (this fee includes the $25 Season Pass discount)

OUT OF COUNCIL CUB SCOUTS AND SIBLINGS:

• $195 Early Bird rate ends May 1, 2026 and 50% of camp fees must be paid by May1, 2026 to receive the Early Bird Rate
• If signed up after the Early Bird Date of May 1, 2026 camp fees are $210 

ADULT LEADERS/PARENTS/GUARDIANS:

  $120 (4 days and 3 nights)

All registrations must be paid in full by May 29, 2026

Registration closes May 29, 2026

NO ADDITONAL FEES FOR ANY PROGRAM ACTIVITIES!

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

Cub Adventure Camp strives to provide the very best program possible. We enter obligations with our staff and vendors during the winter before summer camp. Prior to May 15, 2026 cancellations will be refunded in full. Cancellations after May 15, 2026 undermine our ability to provide quality program. Cancellations after May 15, 2026 will be refunded all but $50 per participant cancellation. There will be no refunds on cancellations after May 29, 2026. In the case of death of an immediate family member, sickness or injury, or a military transfer please reach out to pamela.miscikowski@scouting.org with supporting information verified by a physician, military commander or other such official.  Reasons such as vacation schedule, sporting events and last-minute changes of mind are not acceptable reasons for refunds after May 29, 2026.  Participants who leave during the event will not receive a refund. Requests for refunds received after the event is over will not be accepted.
