The Brightest Night of the Year Is Back!

Get ready for an electrifying fall adventure at the 3rd Annual Glow Trail Run 5K & Kids 1-Miler — where the trails glow, the energy’s high, and the memories are unforgettable! Bring the whole family, your running crew, or just come for the s’mores. You don’t need to be a Scout to experience the magic — you just need the brightest headlamp you own, and your favorite pair of running shoes!

Glow Gear Galore – From glow-in-the-dark t-shirts to bracelets and more, we’re lighting up the woods in style!

Epic Campfire – Who doesn't want to roast s’mores under the stars?

Awards & Swag

Kids 1-Miler: Every participant (18 & under) gets a glowing finishers swag bag

5K Glow Run: Top 3 male & female finishers in each age group earn a one-of-a-kind LED medal (that’s 45 medals total!)

All Participants: get a swag bag, s’mores kit, and a FREE* glow shirt with early registration!

* FREE race shirts and additional race shirts are only guaranteed for registrations paid in full by October 3rd.

5K Participants: $30

1-Miler Participants: $20 (parents run FREE)

Extra Race Shirt: $20

Overnight Camper: $5 per person (kids 5 and under FREE)

Race Timing
5K: Professionally timed & chipped by our friends at Commonwealth Timing

1-Miler: Bibs provided, non-timed, fun-focused

Dinner and Trading Post

Dinner: each campfire dinner, hot off the grill, includes a hot dog (kosher), drink, chips, and cookie.  Dinner can be purchased for $4 per person.

Trading Post: fun glow swag can be purchased at the Trading Post.

We accept cash and credit.

Overnight Camping
Just $5/person (5 & under camp FREE!)

EVENT SCHEDULE

4:00–6:00 PM – Campsite set-up (all vehicles must be parked by 6:00 PM)
5:00–7:00 PM – Check-in, packet pick-up, walk-up registration
6:30 PM – Kids 1-Miler kicks off from the Handicraft Lodge
6:30–7:00 PM – Walk to T. Brady Saunders for Campfire, Dinner & the Race Start / Finish
6:50 PM – Nightfall – Headlamps ON!
7:15 PM – 5K Glow Trail Run START
8:20–10:30 PM – Campfire program + awards
10:30 PM – Last walk back to Cub Adventure Camp
11:00 PM – Lights out for campers

Saturday: 7:00–8:30 AM – Campers pack up and head out

BONUS: Scouts Earn Advancement!
Scouts can earn advancement by participating in our 5K Trail Run & Kids 1-Miler!

Pack leadership and parents: download the Kids 1-Miler Advancement PDF under the attachments to the right and see what YOUR Cubs can earn.

Scouts BSA: use your training and your race to complete requirements for the Personal Fitness merit badge.

NOTE: This event takes place during our second weekend of Cub Scout Creepy Hollow at Cub Adventure Camp
Camp will be decorated for the spooky season, and both 5K and 1-Miler race participants are welcomed to run in costume!  Just make sure you include headlamps or other light sources for your safety on the trails after dark.
