Huguenot Trail District Pinewood Derby Races

Pack 836, Pack 876, and Troop 876 will be hosting Huguenot Trail District's 2024 Pinewood Derby.  All are welcome to race, not only 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers at the Pack level.

Pre-registration is required to allow us to set up heats in advance.

Awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each Den level.

Siblings and parents are welcome and encouraged to participate in the Outlaw Class for each Den level. Outlaw races will be held at the same time as the Den races on a third track (for example, parents and siblings of Bears and Wolves in the Outlaw class will race at the same time as the Bear and Wolf Den races).

Location: Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church Gym, 1100 Mt Pisgah Dr, Midlothian, VA 23113

Cost: FREE for ALL (but ALL RACERS MUST register in advance)

Who can attend: 

• All registered youth from Huguenot Trail District Cub Scout Packs, including AOLs graduating/Crossing over to Scouts BSA in early 2024
• Parents and siblings of registered Cub Scouts are welcome to race in the Outlaw Class

Concessions:

• Troop 876 will be selling drinks and food at very reasonable prices

Times:  

• Lions and Tigers (and Lion/Tiger Outlaws), check in 9:00 - 9:45AM, races start 10AM
• Wolves and Bears (and Wolf/Bear Outlaws), check in 10:00 - 10:45AM, races start 11AM
• Webelos and AOLs (and Webelos/AOL Outlaws), check in 11:00 - 11:45AM, races start 12PM
