The deadline to GUARANTEE a free glow-in-the-dark race shirt has passed.  We will do our best to fill registrant shirt requests.
No additional shirts are available for order at this time.

Walk-Up Registration is Available at Packet Pickup or at Race Check-In Starting at 5pm on the 7th.
Payment options include checks and credit card.

Check out this fall’s most exciting adventure yet, as we invite your whole family (and all your closest friends, neighbors, and race mates) to the 5K like no other. You don't have to be a Scout member to participate! As if Camp wasn't cool enough already, we decided to give it a GLOW UP! With fun glow-in-the-dark t-shirts, bracelets, and more, we’ll light up camp like never before.

Forget about those boring award ceremonies, we’re having a giant campfire program with S’mores! Our top 3 male and female racers in each age bracket will get an awesome award - 45 awards in all! Each Kids 1-Miler participant, 18 years of age and under, will receive a patch at the finish line! A limited number of additional patches will be available for purchase.

Packet Pickup
Come visit us at the Heart of Virginia Council Leadership Center at 8090 Villa Park Drive in Henrico on October 4th from 12pm to 3pm, and October 5th from 4pm to 6pm to pick up your packets and t-shirts! Packets can also be picked up on the day of the race at our Cub Adventure Camp Welcome Center starting at 5pm.

Race Check In
Race check in begins at 5pm on Saturday, October 7th at the Cub Adventure Camp Welcome Center starting at 5pm.  Packets can be picked up, and walk-up registrations will be available until 6:45pm.

Concessions
We will have a camp dinner available for purchase at our Glow Run Trading Post near the start/finish line.  This dinner will include a hot dog, chips, and a drink.

Race Timing
The 5K trail race is a chipped, timed race.  Bibs will be included at packet pick-up.  1-Miler participants will receive a bib; however, this race is not timed or chipped.  Timing is provided by Commonwealth Timing and Race Management.

Saturday Night Camping
Participants may register to camp overnight Saturday for $5 per camper (5 years and up).  Please see our Cub Adventure Camp Map - 5K and 1 Miler PDF for campsite details (in red).  You can easily include your night with us when you register for the race - simply add the number of "5K Campers" (5 years and up - 5 and under are FREE) to your order!

Schedule of Events
4:00pm - 6:00pm: Campsite set-up (cars parked in main lot by 6:00pm)
5:00pm - 7:15pm: Check-in at CAC Welcome Center for 1-Miler, 5k, campers, guests, and all volunteers/spectators
6:30pm: Start of Kids 1-Miler at Cub Adventure Camp Handicraft Lodge
6:20pm: Cut off for 1-Miler walk-up registrations
6:45pm: Cut off for 5K walk-up registrations
6:30pm - 7:30pm: use Sleepy Hollow to walk to T. Brady Saunders.  Start of the campfire program and campfire dinner.
7:41pm: Nightfall - all participants and guests, turn on your headlamps
7:45pm: Start of 5K Trail Race
9:20pm - 10:30pm: Campfire program and awards ceremony
10:30pm: last call to use Sleepy Hollow to return to Cub Adventure Camp for parking and camping
11:00pm: Lights out for campers

Sunday, 7:00am - 8:30am: Campers pack up and depart

Registrant Details
1-Miler Participant: receives an official race shirt (shirt order deadline 9/21, limited number of shirts available while supplies last), swag bag, and a s'mores and refreshment kit for our campfire program!

5K Participant: receives an official race shirt (shirt order deadline 9/21, limited number of shirts available while supplies last), swag bag, and a s'mores and refreshment kit for our campfire program!  Race medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in several age brackets.

5K Campfire Pass: is perfect for spectators that also want to participate in the campfire program with s'mores and refreshments!

* Race Shirts
Early registration includes one FREE glow-in-the-dark shirt per participant.  Additional shirts can be purchased for $17 each.  The deadline to register and receive a shirt is September 21st at noon.  A small number of extra shirts will be purchased to fill on a first come / first served basis.
