Join Arrohattoc and Crater Districts for a weekend of outdoor activities at the Fall Camporee on October 20-22 at Chesterfield County Fairgrounds. The information for this event and its activities are provided in the attached program guide.

A cold wind howls, stripping leaves off of the trees, and the pathways through the hills are laced with frost.  In previous centuries, throughout the countryside families and neighbors gathered around the hearth fire during the long, dark hours of the winter season gossiping and telling stories as they labored by candle, lamp, and firelight.  These stories include many tales of Tricksters, cautionary tales of monsters, and of course the triumph of Light over Darkness.

The skills needed by the successful heroes of these stories included knot tying, orienteering, team-work, cooking, balance, and other Scout skills.

Registration closes at 9:00 PM on October 16 - $16 per Scout; $6 per Adult. Walk-in unit registrations will NOT be accepted.

NEW FOR 2023: We are pre-selling t-shirts and hoodies with the Camporee logo. Orders must be placed by October 9, and can be picked up at check-in when you arrive at the Camporee.  Orders can be placed by clicking the Order T-Shirts button below.
