It's once again time for the Nawakwa Trail Crew day of service! This time we'll be returning to Camp T. Brady Saunders to continue our work on trails around the reservation. We'll also be starting a new trail in TBS.
Camping and fellowship is available Friday night, along with a cracker barrel. We will be camping in Fleet areas D and E, across from the OA Pavilion. If you wish to join us for camping Friday night, you can arrive starting at 6:00 p.m.
Check-in Saturday morning starts at 8:00 a.m. at the Camp T. Brady Saunders OA Pavilion. Please park in the parking lot between Area D and the OA Pavilion (just before the OA Pavilion, on the left).
Meals provided by Nawakwa's Food Service staff will include Friday night craker barrel, Saturday breakfast and lunch, plus the always delicious closing Dutch oven cobblers.
Crew members should come dressed in long sleeves and pants, and wear sturdy boots. You are expected to bring a filled water bottle and a completed medical form (parts A&B). We will have gloves, safety glasses, and lids for each participant, but you may bring your own if you would prefer. A list of supplies/gear needed for the event will be sent with instructions prior to the event. For more information, or if you have questions, please contact registration@nawakwa.org.
Available for purchase are a red Trail Crew water bottle with OA Arrowhead logo ($15), and a set of four stickers ($3) to match the critters who have joined us at the last few Trail Crew events. Stickers include a cardinal, fish, albino skunk, and raven. Also available is the Trail Crew neck gaiter for $8. Supplies are limited!
