We offer camp opportunities for Scouts of all ages! First-year Scouts can enjoy Brownsea Island, while more experienced Scouts can seek thrills on the New River and in the backcountry of the Blue Ridge Mountains!

CAMP POWHATAN

Follow Seven Bridges Road to meet our enthusiastic base camp staff, ready to provide your unit with an exciting and unique merit badge experience!

BROWNSEA ISLAND

First-year Scouts can stay with their unit at Powhatan while participating in a one-of-a-kind program that will prepare them for their Scouting future!

NEW RIVER ADVENTURE

Our most thrill-seeking program combines teamwork, leadership, and the confidence-building of rock climbing and COPE courses with the thrills, skills, and, spills of whitewater!

CLAYTOR LAKE ADVENTURE

Hone your water sports skills and earn aquatic merit badges with your friends on Claytor Lake, a beautiful 4,500-acre highlands reservoir on the New River!

SCUBA

Scouts interested in exploring the underwater wilds of the mountains can earn their Open Water Diver certification and maybe even uncover some treasure!

BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINEER

This primitive skills, living history camp gives Scouts unique opportunities to experience the by-gone days of the Rendezvous era!

HIGH KNOLL TRAIL CAMP

With over a hundred miles of trails and a variety of outpost activities, every day backpacking on High Knoll is a special adventure!

CANOE THE NEW

Harken back to the days of the voyageur in this river-camping adventure along the New River, one of only a handful of rivers in the US that flow South to North!
