The 2024 Annual meeting of the Blue Ridge Mountain Council will commence on Friday, January 31, at 5:00p.m. at the Salem Civic Center located at 1001 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153. 

The Annual Meeting of the Members of the corporation shall be for the purpose of receiving annual reports of the Executive Board, Officer, and various Committees, electing Members-At-Large, associate and honorary members of the Corporation, the Corporation’s Representatives to the National Council (other than the president and Council commissioner), and the At-Large members of the Executive Board, and receiving financial statement showing the financial position of the corporation as of the close of it most recent fiscal year and the results of operation during such year.

Any suggestions for consideration by Nomination Committee for Members-At-Large, At-Large members of the Executive Board, Associate Members, Honorary Members and National Council Representatives should be submitted by writing the Nominating Committee. All such suggestions must be submitted by Blue Ridge Mountains Council Registered Scouters and must be received by Friday January 17th, to Governance and Nominating Chair, Betty Kingery at BettyKingery@gmail.com.
