Get ready for an action-packed adventure at the East District Cub Scout Day Camp! This year’s exciting Superhero theme invites Cub Scouts to discover the hero within through hands-on activities, outdoor adventures, and unforgettable demonstrations from real-life community heroes.

Throughout the week, Scouts will train like superheroes while enjoying an incredible lineup of activities including creative crafts, exciting sports and games, rocket launching, BB gun shooting, archery, and a visit from a NASA Scientist. Scouts will also experience up-close demonstrations from local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency responders who serve as everyday heroes in our communities.

Special highlights include interactive presentations from the State Police Forensics Mobile Lab, where Scouts can explore the science of solving mysteries, along with thrilling fire department demonstrations and opportunities to meet first responders. From outdoor challenges to educational exhibits, every day will be filled with excitement, teamwork, discovery, and fun.

Whether your Scout dreams of saving the day, exploring space, mastering new skills, or simply making new friends, East District Cub Scout Day Camp is the perfect place to build confidence, character, and lifelong memories. Heroes aren’t born — they’re made at camp!

Join us at Heritage United Methodist Church, 582 Leesville Road, Lynchburg VA from June 15th to June 19th, daily from 8:30 am to 4 pm for an incredible Day Camp experience! Lunch is not provided, so please bring a bagged lunch each day!

Cost is $85 per child. Registration fee includes all program materials and a patch. T-shirts for the event will be available for purchase!
