Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST) is a Scouting America training designed for youth holding troop leadership roles. It teaches roles, responsibilities, and essential leadership skills through three interactive modules—Troop Organization, Tools of the Trade, and Leadership/Teamwork. The course aims to be youth-led and serves as a prerequisite for advanced training like NYLT. This training will be held at the American Legion Post 16 at 1301 Greensboro Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502 from 10:30am until 4pm on Saturday, May 16th.
