Phenomenon - is a themed older youth weekend program for Crews, Ships, and Scouts BSA members ages 14+, planned by the older youth in the Shenandoah Area Council and other nearby CST 12 Councils, and is based on the Venturing ALPS model.

WHO: For adults and youth ages 14 and older

Registration Opens: July 6, 2026

Late Fee Begins: August 7, 2026 (12:00 AM)

WHEN: Friday, August 28 - Sunday, August 30, 2026 

WHERE: Camp Sinoquipe Scout Reservation (677 Boy Scout Rd, Fort Littleton, PA 17223)

COST:

$50 per Participant (Adult/Youth) - REGULAR PRICE

$60 per Participant (Adult/Youth) - INCLUDES $10 LATE FEE - BEGINS 8/7/2026 @ 12:00AM

$3-35 per Class (Adult/Youth) - SOME CLASSES HAVE ADDITIONAL FEE $3-$35 EACH CLASS

• NRA First Step Pistol is limited to a maximum of 8 participants per session, open only to youth and young adult participants, $20.00 fee includes materials and ammo. Those taking the afternoon session may not be able to participate fully in the Quest.
• Leave No Trace Level 1 Instructor is limited to a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 12 participants. A $35.00 fee includes all materials (if the minimum is not met by Aug 1, 2025, this course may be canceled). This course requires attendance at the Friday evening, all Saturday sessions, and Sunday morning sessions. Participants will not be able to participate in many Phenomenon activities, including the Quest.
• Cowboy Action activity is limited to a maximum of 15 participants per session, $3.00 FEE
• Competitive jigsaw puzzle is set at teams of four (can be all youth or can be a mixed team of up to two youth and two adults), $10.00 fee for the team
