Scout Day at Winterplace Ski Resort

Special Ski Program for Tidewater Council SAVE 50%!
Ski/Snowboard Package ($80) includes:
- All area open to close lift ticket
- Must choose Ski or Snowboard
- Equipment Rental -Ski or Snowboard- for the day
- Helmet
- Group lesson (based on availability; must be minimum age 8 for group lesson)
- Add $10 for late registration (after January 22)
Extras Available:
- Meal Voucher: $18.00
- Snowtubing: $40.00. This is a 2 hour 45 minute session, or $65 all day. You can select tubing as a stand alone session and not go skiing/snow boarding. Tubing availability is limited. You can select your preferred time slot.
Equipment and voucher pickup:
- Sunday Morning, January 25: Vouchers can be picked up, starting at 8:00 AM, and equipment at 9:00 AM at Winterplace.
- If you are unable to arrive at 8:00 AM, the Tidewater staff member will be available to get your vouchers to you.
Lodging: Lodging is NOT included in the Ski Package. Lodging options in the area include, but are not limited to:

- The Summit Bechtel Reserve: Dormitory rooms are available at Base Camp Delta dormitory, which adjoins the Pigott Dining Hall. Each room has three bunk beds (up to six people). Private restrooms with showers are located in the hallway. A gathering room with television, tables, and chairs are located on each floor. Groups determine the number of rooms to rent based on desired occupancy (1 - 6 people) and group composition (male/female, youth/adult) to maintain BSA Safeguarding Youth Guidelines. If you wish to work on the Snowsports Merit Badge, you will need to make your own arrangements for a counselor.
