Tidewater Council Shooting Sports Committee encourages youth (under age 18) to review TWC Shooting Sports SOP Appendix R, and contact shootingsports@pipsicobsa.com before registering for courses. Remember to include a parent or guardian on the email!

31 Jan. 2026	NRA Basic Rifle Course 8am-6pm Pipsico Scout Reservation - Camp Lions $80.00 per participant Cost includes student manual and materials, range usage, coffee and water, and use of firearms and ammunition. Lead Instructor: TBD
28 Feb. 2026 01 March 2026	NRA Instructor Rifle Course 12pm(Sat)-2pm(Sun) Pipsico Scout Reservation - Camp Lions $150.00 per participant Cost includes instructor manual and materials, range usage, and use of firearms and ammunition. NOT INCLUDED: NRA certificaiton fee PREREQUISITE: Must complete the NRA Basic Rifle Course prior to this course. Students may register now in anticipation of completing the basic course, in order to secure a seta in the instructor course. Training Counselor: Ethan Coble

PREREQUISITE: USA Archery Level 1 Instructor Online Course ($40.00 fee to USA Archery) Lead Instructor: TBD
09 May 2026	NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) Course 9am-7pm Pipsico Scout Reservation - Camp Lions $50.00 per participant Cost includes instructor manual and materials, range usage, and use of firearms and ammunition.
