Calling all Veterans and Friends and Family of Scouting & Anyone else (21 Yrs old+)that wants to support youth outdoor programs

$20 ticket gets you entered into the Derby, a drink ticket, and a derby kit upon request.

No uniforms or children.

Pint-wood Derby rules Rules-

1. You can build a new car, bring your old car, bring your kids car, buy one online, or raid our box of old cars the day of the event. Whatever is cool with us, but.........
2. Car must be checked in during the Check-in time (5-6PM) day of race.
3. Car must have standard wheel width of base kit (2.25 inches at max including wheels) and no longer than 8 inches and no taller than 5 inches- to fit on the track.
4. Car can weigh no more than 10 oz, rounded to 1 decimal place (10.0 oz).
5. Car cannot damage track. Determination of risk will be decided by the (All knowing, Great and Powerful) Chief Race Official.
6. Car will have a silly or cool name.
7. NO GLITTER.
8. We don't care if all 4 wheels touch the ground at the same time. We don't care what you use to lubricate the wheels as long as it does not make a mess.
9. Cars will be raced in heats, with bottom performers being eliminated.
10. Racer must remain on premises in order to race each heat.
11. Lanes will be assigned at random, in a method determined by the (All knowing, Great and Powerful) Chief Race Official.
12. Any disputes will be settled by the (All knowing, Great and Powerful) Chief Race Official.
13. All Racers will be respectful to each other, patrons and venue staff.
14. And finally... This is just for fun. Don't take it too seriously.

Pickup at the Scout store, 1032 Heatherwood Dr Va. Beach (additional accessories available for sale onsite check online for hours open)

-OR- Picked up at Afterglow Brewery- Available Sunday April 26 4-6PM, Sunday May 4th 4-6PM, or Sunday May 10th 4-6PM (look for the Bearded guy with a pinewood derby car)

-OR- Delivered to your home for an additional $5 (must be registered by May 7th to receive a car in time for race) .
