Princess Anne Spring Camporee
FINISH FIRST - The program will consist of Scout Skill Training led by Senior Scouts using Scouting’s Teaching method, EDGE (i.e., Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, Enable). These stations will provide an opportunity for newer Scouts to learn and demonstrate skills required for First Class, and for experienced Scouts to teach via EDGE, fulfilling LIFE Rank requirement #6.
Please don't arrive prior to 7:00 PM on Friday due to another event ending.
Troops are requested to advise the Camporee Task Force which Scout Skill Activity they have selected to help plan, set-up and run from the categories listed below:
1. First Aid, Emergency Preparedness and Weather (Tenderfoot-4a,c; Second Class-6a,b,c,d,e; First Class-5b,c,d, and 7a,b,c,d,e,f)
2. Knots and Lashings (Scout-4a,b; Tenderfoot-3a,b,c and 8; Second Class-2f,g; First Class-3a,b,c,d)
3. Fire and Cooking (Second Class-2a,b,c,d; Firem'n Chit)
4. Knife, Ax and Saw (Scout-5; Tenderfoot-3d; Totin’ Chip)
5. Map and Compass (Including Height and Distance Measurement) (Tenderfoot-5a,b,c; Second Class-3a,d; First Class-4a,b)
6. Dangers of Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco/Public Servant (Second Class-7c; First Class-9a)
