Guns 'n Grillin' 2.0 (Outdoor Adventure Weekend)

Event Details

Everyone is welcome to join us for the GnG 2.0!

The Guns 'n' Grillin' 2.0 (Outdoor Adventure Weekend) Weekend is open to all registered Scouts BSA, Venture Scouts, and Sea Scouts. (Cub Scouts are asked to register for one of the two (2) Cub Scout Family Camps in May and October, in order to participate in Cub Scout approved shooting activities.) Participants will be restricted from certain stations according to the guide to safe scouting.
This weekend will combine the most exciting shooting sports activities that are normally offered at a Guns ‘n Grillin’ event (.22 Rifle, Shotgun, tomahawks, Sling shots, Archery) with other activities such as large scale pioneering projects, climbing, and much more! Units/individuals who meet eligibility requirements may purchase tickets to shoot shotguns, and High-caliber Rifles only through Black Pug. NO onsite tickets can be purchased for either the shotgun or the High-caliber Rifle shooting ranges. Shotgun tickets (Scouts BSA & Venturers) are $4/5 shots and High-caliber Rifle tickets (Venturing Experience; Age 14 and Up Only)) are $8/10 shots.

All activities are on Saturday only. Participants are invited to camp from Friday through Sunday, or any portion in between. Space is limited to 250 campers. Lunch on Saturday is the only meal provided this weekend. Please make alternate arrangements for other meals. Regardless, be prepared to prepare and clean-up what you bring. Water is available in all sites. Refer to the schedule when planning your meals to ensure you have enough time to prepare, eat, and tidy up.
Please note, due to the popularity of this event, and to give the greatest opportunities to our youth, youth members of the BSA are currently only allowed to register as “shooters”, and adults are to register as “non-shooters”.
