The 2024 Colgate W. Darden, Jr. Gala will honor Taylor Harrell, the president of Southern Bank and Trust Company, for his service to the community.  Get ready to celebrate in style, because the 2024 Darden Gala is bringing the vibrant energy of Mardi Gras to life!

The annual Darden Gala is a fundraising event for Tidewater Council, Boy Scouts of America, featuring food, games, music, dancing, and a charity auction. All proceeds support Tidewater Council in its mission to provide local youth with life skills and character development. Tidewater Council serves more than 3,000 youth throughout Hampton Roads Virginia and northeast North Carolina. Your sponsorship of the Darden Gala will support a program that provides services to our most valuable resource, our youth.  For over 100 years, the Scouting movement has taught the youth the values of duty, honor, and community service.
