This Dive into autumn at Pipsico Scout Reservation during our Fall Into the Fall Pool Fest, a Cub Scout family camping weekend centered around water fun, aquatic adventure, and outdoor family experiences! This unique event combines the excitement of swimming and pool-based activities with the fun of camping, giving Scouts and their families an opportunity to make memories both in and around the water.

Throughout the weekend, Scouts and siblings will rotate through a variety of aquatic-themed stations designed to promote confidence, teamwork, and fun. Activities may include open swimming, pool games, relay races, water rescue demonstrations, floating challenges, water safety instruction, and opportunities to practice basic swimming skills. Scouts can participate in aquatic-themed crafts, knot-tying challenges, sponge and bucket relays, fishing activities, and interactive programs focused on aquatics, wildlife, and fun in the outdoors.

Participants will be organized into groups and rotate through scheduled activity stations, allowing every Scout an opportunity to experience a wide variety of programs. The schedule is packed with adventure, but families are encouraged to enjoy the weekend at their own pace. If a Scout needs a break or a particular activity isn't of interest, families are welcome to relax at their campsite, explore camp, or enjoy free time together. To ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, please arrive on time for activities, as safety briefings and swim checks must be completed before participation.

Families are invited to camp from Friday through Sunday, or any portion of the weekend. Arriving on Friday provides an opportunity to settle into camp, explore the reservation, and be ready for a full day of aquatic adventures on Saturday. After a fun-filled day in and around the pool, families may choose to relax by the campfire Saturday evening before departing on Sunday.

With the exception of the provided grab-and-go lunch on Saturday, all meals are the responsibility of individual families and units. Whether you're preparing a gourmet camp feast or keeping things simple, please plan accordingly and clean up all food and waste. Water is available throughout camp, and dumpsters are located near the camp entrance. Be sure to review the program schedule when planning meals so your family has ample time to cook, eat, and get ready for the next aquatic adventure.
