Derby Eligibility: The top three finishers of each den, from every pack in Three Rivers, are eligible
to race. Arrow of Light (AOL) that have just bridged to a troop are still eligible. 
Fees: Qualified pack racers $8.50 per car
Registration: Pack Coordinator, please register your unit online 
Online Registration deadline is Tuesday, March 19, 2024
Car Turn-In Information:

All cars must be turned into the impound lot prior to the race.  All cars must have a 2024 Pinewood Derby "Driver's License" turned in with the racers car.  Two dates available for turn in prior to race day (March 16th & 18th).  Information on the back of the "Driver's License" and below.  Cars will be accepted between 8:00 - 9:00 AM on race day.  No cars will be accepted after 9:00 AM on race day!

It is strongly suggested to place this form (Driver's License) and your car in a gallon zip lock back together when turning it in. This will ensure they are kept together.

YOUR PACK REPRESENTATIVE will be responsible for:

1.  Turning in Pack Worksheet (page 3 in attached guide)

2.  Delivering ALL cars that have qualified to race into the
District on one of the dates below.

Monday, March 18th   6:30-8:00 PM,  Church of the Resurrection, 3501 Cedar Lane, Portsmouth, VA 23703

Saturday, March 23rd (race day) 8:00-9:00 AM, Church of the Resurrection, 3501 Cedar Lane, Portsmouth, VA 23703

(Races begin immediately following the opening ceremony)

10:15 AM - Lions and Tigers

11:00 AM - Wolves and Bears 

11:45 AM - Webelos and Arrow of Light

12:30 PM - Lunch 

1:00 PM - District Championship Race

1:45 PM - District results & award ceremony

Awards: Den results will be announced at the conclusion of the Den races.  District results, and all awards, will be distributed at the conclusion of the District Championship Race (approx. 1:45 PM).
