Event Description: 

This year’s Spook-O-Ree will be full of Fairy Tales and Folklore. Get ready for a spine-tingling fun time as Tales and Folklore promise to bring a lot of fun and games for all. Whether you’re a seasoned scout or a first timer, this camp is perfect for brave souls who love the trill of the season. Space is limited so don’t miss out on your chance to join us for a frightfully fun weekend. This is a Family Camping Event.

As a reminder there will be limited access in and out of the Air Base gate.

UPDATE: The access gate will be Closed from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am during this event. You will need to check-in and check-out with a member of the event staff. We encourage you to limit your trips on and off the base.

There is to be no open fires or raised pit fires. Cooking with charcoal, on charcoal cooking table will be allowed. Propane camp stoves are also allowed.

We are working on revising the leader’s guide to reflect this new information. When the revision is completed, we will notify the Unit Leader as registered in Black Pug.

General Activity Summary

Cub Scouts and their families will participate in activities similar to Cub Scout Day camp. Cub Scout Packs are able to Family camp for the weekend. Packs should have their BALOO trained leadership with them.

Detailed Information

1) Packs should register as a Unit – Identify Cub Scout participants with names and ranks

2) Packs will plan their own meals for the weekend

3) Packs will participate in the Saturday Campfire and Scouts Own Service

4) Carpooling is strongly encouraged due to limited parking

5) Adult volunteers are needed to help run stations and to be Den Walkers as Scouts move around the program areas
