Cub Scout Cuboree
November 13–15, 2026
State Military Reservation, Virginia Beach

Packs are invited to a two-night Cub Scout Cuboree at the State Military Reservation. Check-in is Friday at 4:00 p.m. Checkout is Sunday by 11:00 a.m.

This is a family camping weekend. Days are built around den-friendly stations, simple ceremonies, and time in camp.

Who: Registered Cub Scouts with two-deep adult leadership
Cost: $20 per Cub Scout · $10 per adult, event staff, and Troop Scout staff
Adults will need a What you bring: Your own tents, cooking, and cold-weather gear (mid-November nights run cool and can be wet)

All drivers must either have a Real ID, passport, or a current Military ID for entrance to Camp Pendelton (State Military Reservation (SMR)).

A facility map—parking, camping areas, vehicle routes, foot routes, and activity locations—will go out before the weekend. Stay on the marked routes; this is an active military installation and those limits keep everyone safe.

Unit leaders: read the Leaders Guide before you register. It covers BALOO and Youth Protection expectations, health forms (Annual Health and Medical Record Parts A and B), check-in and pickup rules, packing, and emergencies. Families with questions on those points should ask their pack leadership, who have the guide.
