The 2026 Colgate W. Darden, Jr. Gala will honor the Honorable George Allen and Susan Allen, for their years of service the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Get ready to celebrate in style, because the 2026 Darden Gala is bringing boots, buckles and cowboy fun, so bring your finest hat.  

The annual Darden Gala is a fundraising event for Scouting America Tidewater Council, this year featuring, saloon games, boot-stompin' music, line dancing, good eats and a charity auction. All proceeds support Tidewater Council in its mission to provide local youth with life skills and character development. Tidewater Council serves more than 5,000 youth throughout Hampton Roads Virginia and northeast North Carolina. Your sponsorship of the Darden Gala will support a program that provides services to our most valuable resource, our youth.  For more than 100 years, the Scouting movement has taught youth the values of duty, honor, and community service.
