Get ready for a Day Cruise on the USS McCool on March 6th! 

Tidewater Council is happy to offer a Friends and Family Cruise over the day of March 6th for Scouting families and Units throughout Tidewater Council!

Specific details will be released closer to the end of February, but plan to arrive at 7:00 AM around Naval Station Norfolk (Exact location TBD), where participants will be shuttled in shortly after to be underway around 10 AM, with a special surprise to remember as we plan to finish the event around 3 PM.

Note the following:

1. The maximum capacity for this event is 125 individuals. Please only register individuals planning on attending.
   1. Only Unit Leaders should register for this event on behalf of their unit.
2. This event is open to all Tidewater Council Participants ages 8 and above (Bears and Older).
   1. In addition, due to the nature of the vessel, there is no mobility accomodations available for participants, so please take this into account when considering participation.
   2. All participants must be wearing appropriate footwear and attire to be able to scale up and down the ladders of the vessel to participate.
3. Please have registration occur on a per-unit basis.
   1. In additon, it is strongly recommended for each vehicle driving participants to have someone with pre-existing military base access (active/retired military ID or government civilian ID) to get onto base.
4. Scouting Health Forms A and B must be completed before this event.
5. Due to security needs for this event, registration will be locked on February 20th.
