Kick off the fall recruiting season by joining us for the York/Poquoson Recruitment Kickoff! This meeting is designed for unit leaders and volunteers who will be helping grow Scouting in York County and Poquoson this fall. 

We encourage at least one representative from every Pack and Troop to attend, such as your Unit Recruiter, Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, Committee Chair, or another volunteer involved with membership. Anyone interested in learning more about recruiting and how to strengthen their unit is welcome.

We'll review recruitment plans for the 2026–2027 Scouting year, discuss strategies for successful school open houses and joining events, share upcoming recruitment opportunities, and look ahead to future district and council events that can help your unit grow.

Whether you're an experienced recruiter or helping for the first time, you'll leave with the information, resources, and game plan needed for a successful recruiting season.
