In honor of the brave men and women who continue to preserve freedom enjoyed by Americans, Scouting America, Green Mountain Council is proud to present the annual Scouting Salute to Veterans parade, Saturday, November 7th, 2026, rain or shine. This year’s parade will be hosted by St. Albans.  

All Scouting America and Girl Scouts of the USA units are invited to march in uniform as we honor our Veterans!

2026 Scouting’s Salute to Veterans Parade Overview

Location: St. Albans

Host Committee: Pack 842 & Troop 42

Date/Time: Saturday, November 7, 2026

Arrival and Lineup: 9:00-10:00 A.M.

Muster Location/Parking: St Albans Town Educational Center, 169 S Main St, St Albans City (Follow Signs)

Step Off: 10:30 A.M.

Parade Route: The parade will leave the Educational Center, travel down Main Street to Taylor Park for the closing ceremony.

Ceremony Location: Taylor Park

Lunch Location: Taylor Park (Subject to Change) (Lunch included for all marchers)
